Hoi Hup Realty secures go-ahead for High Holborn redevelopment
The redevelopment, led by building and property consultancy Gleeds, Make Architects, subleasing advisors Savills and planning professionals Newmark, is expected to provide over 370,000 sq ft of new Grade A workspace. Developed for modern occupiers, the structure is also set to include a brand-new cultural venue, the ‘Holborn Dome’, as well as a public pocket park at Southampton Buildings and improved ground-floor services and permeability.
The project works on the regeneration of a 1.4-acre island site making up three buildings at 322 High Holborn, Holborn Gate and 44 Southampton Buildings.
The revitalised location is going to also include flexible floorplates, health spaces and patios. The property development is targeting BREEAM ‘Outstanding’ and EPC ‘A’ standings, adhering to the deployment of smart systems and low-carbon components across the site.
This notable undertaking follows 4 years of adjustment by Hoi Hup, achieved through a series of strategic procurements that brought combined approximately 250,000 sq ft of workplace.

The scheme is going to take place at a location adjacent to Chancery Lane below ground terminal and will be just within minutes of Farringdon Station and the Elizabeth Line. Hoi Hup claims the system is readied to be the “western gateway for long term growth” and will be among one of the most major new office consents in the Square Mile.
Singapore-based real estate developer Hoi Hup Realty has received the clearance from the City of London Company for ‘High Holborn’, a major office-led redevelopment project, according to a June 18 release.
