How Gen Z consumers and the ‘trust economy’ are changing the mall experience
Small and medium-sized companies accounted for most of recipients, composing 376 organizations, or 78% of the overall.
Another 113 companies got the Company of Good– 3 Hearts recognition, consisting of 8M Real Estate, Banyan Tree Holdings, Far East Orchard, OUE REIT Management and Savills (Singapore).
“Ten years on, Company of Good has already shown that Corporate Function is significantly becoming an integral part of how organisations create worth for their stakeholders and the broader culture,” says Tony Soh, PRESIDENT, NVPC.
“As we look ahead, NVPC is going to concentrate on enhancing the community of Business of Good and allowing organisations to gain from one another, collaborate throughout businesses and industries and create impact together,” includes Soh.
An overall of 481 services were identified as Business of Good by the National Volunteer and Philanthropy Centre (NVPC) this year, as the campaign marked its 10th commemoration. The acknowledgment honours services that develop favorable social impact in Singapore.
The announcement was made at NVPC’s Firm of Good Conference and Conferment held on July 20 at Fairmont Singapore, which in turn saw approximately 700 business leaders gathered.
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Trade and Industry Gan Kim Yong governed the event, presenting the Champion of Good awards, whilst Senior Minister of State for Culture, Community and Youth, and Trade and Market Low Yen Ling presented the Business of Good– 3 Hearts awards.
Meanwhile, 63 business were provided the Champion of Good honor– the greatest tier of the acknowledgment system– including Kuok (Singapore), Lendlease Global Commercial Trust Management, Mapletree Investments and TS Group.
This year’s cohort consists of 177 Firm of Good– 1 Heart receivers, amongst them Colliers, Fraxtor, Craig Road Property, Ngee Koon, and Momentus Resort Alexandra.
Over the last 3 years, 1,046 recognised Companies of Good have actually collectively added almost $384 million in amount offerings, greater than $85 million in donations in-kind, and more than 1.1 million volunteer hours.
